Gators Do Great Things returns in 2026!

Our signature event recognizes the outstanding achievements of Broward County Gator alumni while bringing together friends, family, fans, and community members to celebrate the impact of the Gator network. The evening also allows the Broward County Gator Club to recognize and honor scholarship recipients from the upcoming University of Florida Freshman Class of 2030.

Award Nominations

We are currently accepting nominations for alumni who are making a meaningful impact in their careers and communities.

​

Eligibility
Nominees must have attended and graduated from the University of Florida (undergraduate, graduate, PhD, etc.) and either live in or be from the Broward County area.

Award Categories


🧡 Gator Great
Recognizing an alumnus who has demonstrated significant professional success and community impact.

​

💙 Rising Gator
Recognizing an alumnus under the age of 40 who is already making an impressive impact early in their career.

​

Nomination Deadline: Friday, April 10, 2026

​

Award recipients will be invited to attend Gators Do Great Things and will have the opportunity to speak to attendees, including incoming Gator students and future members of the Gator community.
