After several years away, Gators Do Great Things is back!
Established in 2012, this signature Broward County Gator Club event celebrates the impact of our local Gator community while honoring the next generation of Gators preparing to make their mark.
The evening recognizes outstanding alumni who embody the spirit of the University of Florida through leadership, service, and professional achievement.
This year we will present two special honors:
🧡 Gator Great Award — recognizing an alumnus who has demonstrated exceptional success and impact in their career and community.
💙 Rising Gator Award — honoring a young alumnus who is already making an impressive difference early in their career.
We will also celebrate six outstanding Broward County students who have been selected as this year’s Broward County Gator Club scholarship recipients. As they prepare to begin their journeys at the University of Florida, we’ll send them off to Gainesville surrounded by the support and pride of the local Gator community.
Join us for an evening of connection, celebration, and Gator pride at the African American Research Library and Cultural Center.
